jason, i'm pretty sure those aren't EV stations. they are relatively out in the middle of nowhere and are a bit away from the street. i figure they have something to do with monitoring, regulating, or doing something in relation to the mining fields around where i was.
they do have electric vehicle charging stations all over LA now tho... near UCLA and westwood, in oldtown pasadena, at third street and universal citywalk... the thing about LA is that there are clumps of social/shopping centers that people all go to so the EV things seem to be crawling those areas. (if i see one i'll get a shot.)
