ADDITIONAL NOTES:

from the south street seaport, walking north under the FDR, these three rather charming girls were selling crabs that they had caught out of the east river: five for two dollars.

they said they are there every saturday and we said we'd tell our friends, taking a few photos of the young entrepreneurs before we continued on. (this last photo is courtesy of brooklynkid's fdr gallery.)
