quaint little details define williamsburg brooklyn

dear rion..don't know excatly how i found this site. was sort of perusing my old neighborhood, b burg where i lived and bought a house in 1980. i've moved on and now live in silver city, nm, but this picture of the weary barberpole was a poignant reminder of the past. the tree in the window reflection is one i planted! my "546" home was directly across the steet. thank you for these and other well observed tidbits of life in my old hood. sincerely frances
