i absolutely love that building (hartford gallery). i think i am the only one. but i see it and am instantly reminded of the East. plus, how many buildings like this do you see in manhattan? exactly. i can't believe they're going to tear it down.

i think they're currently battling over the definition of "renovations" involved in the redesign (by architect brad cloepfil). the building is a fave of mine, too.
