ADDITIONAL NOTES:
the parade has been a new york city tradition for 77 years. more history at nyctourist, and more photos at gothamist and bluejake, too.
tonight, i headed to the upper west side to watch the macy's thanksgiving day parade balloons inflate. it was too early in the night to see them rising high, so, as you can see, many look odd: netted and face down... i also caught up with jen and i'm afraid we found kermit in a compromising position.
these are such aweseome bright photos. the 3rd one is weird and really makes me scared LOL i like it a lot.
i wanted to go down there today and check out the parade, weathers right... time is right... but i don't want to be alone so i'll forgoe. i was going to go mainly to take photos.
i'll live vicariously through you :)
You got such a good picture of the Cheesasaurus Rex.
i missed the parade! i must have been sleeping.
Im looking for a copy of the 1998 macys parade for my fiance who was in it but her sister taped over it. so if you know where i can find this pls email me thank you and god bless
These photos are great!!!!!!!!!!
