Only weeks later were a number people attacked by a 110 lb mountain lion. One woman was jumped as she was riding on the trail, her friend grabbed her by the feet and the lion had this woman's face in his mouth as they played tug a war. Luckly a couple other riders showed up and were able to nail it on the head with a couple stone throws. She's in critical but they found another male rider mauled in the bushes. Funny how we were just there (one ring to rule them all)!

Yes, it was in the same Whiting Ranch Park we were hiking but on the other end of the trail. Pretty crazy huh?
