ADDITIONAL NOTES:

yes, it's timesed again this winter. above, the fabled times square in all of its wet, cold and blurry glory. the interesting thing about shooting photos in times square is the multiple points of light you are exposed to, and how disparate the results of white balance become. for more on light and its color: white balance and color temperature on red's site.

and for more daytime times square times, travel back in time to february 2003: times square blizzard.

beautiful photos. the photos seem like a scene from a movie or something. i guess it must be the combo of the snow, the lights and the crispness of the shots. really nice!

Your photography is amazing, I admire it! I wanted to let you know about a new web photo project - pixos.net - that I recently started, which I thought you may be very interested in!

Every week, pixos.net calls on photo enthusiasts around the world to take pictures of a common subject, situation, or theme - with the emphasis on each photographer's location...

But pictures will tell you so much more... so please come and take a look at www.pixos.net!

The current theme is "Smoke in..." and your participation (this week and later!) in my growing project would mean very much to me! (it's also very easy to submit an entry, and doesn't take any time)

Many greetings from California,
Greg.

I love shot #3, that while you slipped and face planted on that ice patch, you still managed to regain your composure and get a clear and perfect shot off! Is that Mike helping out a lovely couple #7?
