It's interesting that most of them are facing downwards...these shots are really good!

This is a great series of shots. They all work well individually and as part of the group. I love the way the third one is cropped. Its beautiful.

Re: heads looking down, that was the first thing I noticed as I was scrolling. The woman in the photo second to last is the only one who seems to walk with confidence.

a great and very original idea!!

i think that's cultural -- a new york thing when walking alone to keep your head down and keep moving. and no one's mentioned it, but i want to know what's up with that piece of cake...
20 August 04 @ 19:36
regarding the head down, i mean, they are crossing the street...don't want to be stepping in a pothole. that or some dog poop.

we a-d-o-r-e this shots :-)
first reason: it seems to be there on the sunny street walking side by side with those women.
second reason: great, brilliant tones
In the end: thanks to your entire picture-activity we feel like NY inhabitants making their everyday life. Thumb up for realism and expressiveness.

I've been looking at your work for the past year and I've got to say your work is excellent. The first one is my favorites.
