ADDITIONAL NOTES:

The demonstrations were New York City's biggest in decades, and the most emphatic at any national political convention since Democrats and demonstrators turned against each other in fury over Vietnam in Chicago in 1968. But the first day was overwhelmingly peaceful, and the demonstrators doused a good bit of Mr. Bush's intended message with television images of dissent. -- upstaging before the show, nytimes.com.

some protest maps by day here in nyc, and if you think you can believe tv news or if you already know you're not getting the real info and want to be really pissed off about it, watch outfoxed, and then come out wednesday sept 1 to protest fox news' complete lack of journalistic integrity.

I love your new lens' ability to capture depth of field well in #2 and #3. And no matter what you say, you're getting much better with taking portraits like in #7. The shadowing, dof, and subject matter is great. Ever think of photo journalism?

I knew you'd have protest pictures up! The Bush puppet is classic, what a fantastic shot.

Great shots, I wish I was in town this weekend. I missed so much.

I really like the picture of the woman with blue scarf. The first one is funny :)
