I've always wanted to go on a European art adventure of sorts but never had the time... Anyway, I hope London has good weather right now. By the way, I didn't know they allowed cameras into museums and stuff? :)

the tate is wonderful. went on wednesday to see the current exhibition on robert frank, who is one of my top influences in street and documentary photography. it's a good show...

and yes, the photos were sneaky. (great lens/no flash.) of the four museums i've been to in London so far, only the V&A and the Natural History had no problems with the snapsnap. ;)

Wow, do the guys from the National Gallery allow to take shots inside? Here in Rome it is not possible without a bunch of permission stuff from high places. Love this series.

some of the top images are slightly ominous, because of the hulking, shadowy figures of the people observing the art. just an accident of the lighting i'm sure, but interesting. the top picture is very amusing because it reminds me of a magritte painting! all the man on the left is missing is a bowler hat! i also like the elbow shot second to last. nice work as usual.

another great place for pics if the British Museum - it's huge and has a great ancient Egypt/Greece display .... and it's FREEEEE !!!
