ADDITIONAL NOTES:

London: i've been starting up conversations with people on the street with the goal of taking their photo. it's resulted with a portrait here and there, as well as my Tattoo'd Strangers set from july, and a recent series of portraits at The Morning News.

Terry, above, was kind enough to let me observe a few moments of his daily work. on the day we spoke, he was laying a small brick wall for the flats at addison house in st. john's wood, central london.

I love this kind of stuff. In fact, I'm trying to get more into it with my own photography. This is a wonderful series that tells a story and provides an interesting portrait. My favorite is the third one. Nice composition. Great stuff...I'll look for more of it.

Echoes of Charlie's Gardening Army, which used to air on BBC Canada, are brought to mind with this series of photographs.
