wow. what plush seats they have in the tube! that looks so luxurious.

Great pics - esp of the underground... but I can assure everyone that those 'plush' seats ain't plush when you get up close ! check this link out for funny things drivers announce over the tannoy on the London Underground... http://www.geofftech.co.uk/tube/overheard.htm

The shots of the Underground are cool, but I was there in the summer and they have no AC. Not as bad as you would think because if you leave the windows down between the train, a nice breeze comes through. By the way, how is it you are in London so much and how can I be down!

I i'm a fan of fast primes and low-light shooting. You, your photos and your site are lovely. A fine representation of quality photoblogging.

Rion- so glad to have a semester behind me and a month off. First thing, visit your site and catch up with your wonderful photos. Have plans to spend next Thanksgiving in New York. Can't wait.

Second to last photo conjures up a submarine in place of a tube car in the mind's eye. Could 'Virgin Submerglactic' be far behind?

the "way out" signs are amusing. is that exit england-style or aging hippie slang? your photography has gone to another level, btw. nice.

man standing at platform, very nice.

Wonderful set; the cloakroom one then is just amazing (only pity for that visible back/shoulder on the left :-(

Is that 'cloakroom' photo in one of the Tate Galleries?
And yeah, the seas aint that luxurious when youre sittin on them but theyre a million tims better than the NY subways if you ask me!

The Underground shots remind me of that terrifying scene from American Werewolf in London. I can just herar the howls while being lost in this maze, trying to find a way out but only to be caught and brutally ripped apart by vicous claws and fangs. Spot On, Tiss, Tiss!
