ADDITIONAL NOTES:
brendan the pretty good is a friend of a friend. the day after we met, i joined brendan in union square nyc to photograph one of his more than pretty good street performing acts, above. he gathered a crowd with a booming voice and even juggled fire, but the most fun part of his act was definitely his charisma with the young assistant he chose from the crowd. it was fun to take photos of him working. -- for more portraits, visit here and here, or check out the recent Morning News feature, faces of the marathon.
in related news, eliot, pam, heather and i, among others, have been mentioned in flickr: the friendster of photo sites by katharine mieszkowski of Salon. the article discusses the joy that is flickr, (flickr's blogged it here,) and happily, the article links to my moblog, The Tag Along Project.

That little kid looks like he's about to jump out of his skin!
the one of him juggling is a nice shot
yikes! was he juggling those knives too? these are great!
i have those same knives- you can buy them at www.dube.com. you can also get the bean bags and diablo there.
That kid really is dapper!
i love the expression on the boy in pic #2...the look of wonder and fear. it's great.
wad's dapper? lol
absolument époustouflant. un travail de photographe exceptionnel. tant de poésie qui me donne de plus en plus envie de venir à new york. Greets from south of france.
Merry christmas people from NY
the image of brendan juggling looks more like he is levitating the balls ala a jedi. you must have used a pretty fast lens to get such a sharp image in such low light.
i can thank my 85mm f1.8 for that.
Brendan really can juggle his balls! And that boy's expression--classic! Hey kid, wanna see your arm disappear!
hi. i'm a friend of brendan's i think i was there when you took these photos... or i think i came right at the end of it.
