high contrast structures and the parisian pilgrimage

I like this photo a lot. The dark areas bring a lot of contrast to the photo. It creates it's own shapes. I like.

Even though so many photos have been taken of the Eiffel Tower I feel like you put a fresh spin on it. I love the second and third shots... they make the metal look so delicate.

I'm glad you saved the best 'til last :)

Gotta love Paris..

It's sad to see you leave NY, especially since you are (were) the best photoblogger in NYC. I guess you are now the best photoblogger in France.

I love the first shot, great chaos.
There's a nice place to visit near Eiffel Tower (at the Bir-Hakeim metro station): the "Maison de la Culture du Japon" (Japan Cultural center). It's a nice contemporary building with great temporary exhibitions and various events.

Old and Iron and not very useful, but still beautiful

I'm loving your Paris photos, and these are some great looks at the Eiffel Tower. The second one down on this page made me laugh nostalgically. Here's why (you'll have to scroll down just a bit): http://homepage.mac.com/markam/photos/eur/

Isn't it funny to think that this was only going to be a temporary structure and that many hated it when it was first constructed/unveiled. Now you can't separate the city and it's most wonderful landmark. Grustave would be proud!

I LOVE that last shot of you two - I violated your copyright and printed one out for my desk. Hope you guys are having the time of your lives! CA misses you!!
