ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Above, pink and green photos of the Tuileries in Paris, and a big old sumo sculpture by David Mach. You can read more about that (in French) at des Photos et Puis Quoi Encore?, a good journalistic photoblog here in Paris.

You can also find an outtake from this set on flickr... a portrait that I took of Jean Claude, who was helping to dig up the seasonal flower beds. The shot was a better without color, so it's posted separately here.

In a side note, I'm happy to announce that you can now buy selected winter photos of mine and many others in the Holiday Collection at Greene St Greetings, a sustainable and socially responsible stationary company based in NYC. Please go visit them, their blog, and maybe buy a big set of cards for the upcoming holidays!

I prefer the flowers shot in color. I'm a big B/W fan, but the colors in the bouquet contrast well w/ the grey suits. The sumo are great.
