ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Back in Paris, practicing basics with my new 30D... the learning curve (specifically with lighting control) is proving to be steeper than expected and messes with my ability to shoot more serendipitously, but we'll see how quickly I can get back up and running. In the meantime, there's inspiration at shotage.co.uk, amysteinphoto, slower's flickr and 2point8.whileseated.org.

Previous Parisian quiet spaces here, here, and here, previous black and white and more Paris on this site.

Nice series (as usual). #2 is my favorite. It reminds me a bit of home. And the lady in background makes you think more.

Another wonderful series, Rion. Congrats on the new 30D. I don't own one, but I think it's a great camera and occasionally have thought of picking one up ... and I'm a Nikon user. :)
