ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Not a well-known vacation spot to most Americans, the Portuguese island of Madeira -- far off the coast of Morocco -- is popular with some French and Brits, but definitely with Germans and the Portuguese themselves. It proved to be a glorious backdrop for a weeklong vacation.

Maybe not well-known to the average American, but us American surfers know it well... there's big surf in the winter!
I like the first shot. The little wood slat is not what you'd expect for your beach towel, but makes perfect sense with the rocks.
