ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Flashbacks continued: Our last lucky week in Paris was spent at a friend's while we awaited our visas. Her place has amazing views from the balcony and the 11th is home to some of our favorite haunts.

The south-east end of that neighborhood (toward the 20th and the 12th) is also very camera-friendly because there are few to no tourists, and it's one of the real versions of Paris that isn't often propagated: run down and crumbly, a bit working-class, and more urban funk than museum fresh, making for much more colorful scenery.

Yes. We are currently missing Paris.

That vibrating tree pattern is inspiring---must explore vibrating patterns in my own work. Thanks!
